The Mummy Hub offers health and wellness solutions for women at any stage (and not just mums!).
As a pelvic health physiotherapist, I have worked with hundreds of women over the years and have realised their health and wellness needs are holistic and often changing. To effectively address their physical issues, other aspects of health need consideration too.
There are many barriers to women accessing help, time being one of the most common. By creating a true multidisciplinary women’s health clinic, where evidence-based health practitioners and experienced exercise professionals work as a team, women will be able to find the health solutions they need in one welcoming, professional space.
Practitioners include physiotherapy, midwifery, reflexology, nutritional therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, birth trauma resolution, breast feeding counselling and health coaching. There will be an extensive program of antenatal education, first aid classes and events/lectures.
Our exercise classes are specifically designed with women in mind. There will be expert pre and postnatal Pilates, yoga and functional strength classes where you are welcome to bring baby along with you but the focus will be on mum! The other classes on the schedule will be available to everyone and focus on quality movement, strength and relaxation. We hope there will be something for everyone!
In addition to this we have an infra-red sauna which has multiple health benefits and a welcoming coffee shop for clients to stop after their class or appointment and to help build a community and further support local women.
