Our Baby Physiotherapy MOT is a comprehensive health check designed to assess your baby’s physical development and well-being. Suitable for newborns and infants up to 6 months, this thorough evaluation helps identify any early signs of movement, posture, or muscle tone issues.
Our experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist, will review the pregnancy and birth history, and any concerns you have before completing a full assessment of your baby. This includes assessing range of movement through all joints, muscle tone and movement patterns and screening for birth conditions such as foot deformities, head turn preference, flat head and hip dysplasia. The assessment will not cause any discomfort or distress to your baby.
The Physiotherapist will answer any questions you may have about your baby’s development and will provide helpful advice, and recommend tailored play-based activities or therapy if needed. If they feel that your baby would benefit from seeing another health care professional, they will signpost you as appropriate. Our Children’s Movement and Developmental Assessment is a specialised assessment designed to monitor and support your child’s growth and motor development. Suitable for children of any age between 6 months and 4 years, this check helps identify any developmental milestones or movement concerns early on. If a Health Visitor has recommended a Physiotherapy assessment following your child’s developmental check, you have a specific concern or you would like peace of mind that your child is meeting their milestones please book in with our Paediatric Physiotherapist today.

Our skilled Paediatric Physiotherapist will ask you about your child’s medical and developmental history and then evaluate your child’s posture, muscle tone, coordination, strength and movement through play.
